SC 3.1.4 reads: \" A mechanism for finding the expanded form of abbreviations is available.\"
Since technique G102 (Providing the expansion or explanation of an abbreviation) devotes a lot of attention to situations where you don\'t need to provide an expansion, but e.g. an explanation, this SC could be reworded as \"A mechanism for finding the meaning of abbreviations is available.\" Providing the expansion is only one way to provide the meaning.
Proposed Change:
Reword SC 3.1.4 to: \"A mechanism for finding the meaning of abbreviations is available.\"
We have updated the success criterion to read, "A mechanism for finding the expanded form or meaning of abbreviations is available."
