apr 3 version of ws-cdl does contain referneces to ongpoing standrds work, so
we need to examine this as we get closer to finalising the spec.

to start to resolve this issue we need to go through each dependancy and
document what we use of that standard in ws-cdl and why

Comment 5 Charlton Barreto 2004-07-13 14:52:30 UTC
After further review and discussion, it is apparent that we overlap to some
degree with BPEL and BPSS - it seems more BPSS than BPEL. I am working on
further defining these overlaps as well as identifying others.
I would like to enter this as a discussion point in conjunction with the general
discussion on critical specification dependencies. In the meantime I will
continue working on this issue to further define the overlap, and propose how
ws-chor should address the overlap.
Comment 6 Charlton Barreto 2004-08-06 06:32:38 UTC
Comment from Monica: WS-CDL approaches choreography of externally observable
behavior of **services** not business collaboration between partners. It has
struggled for example on the definition and use of participant.
