This table must be updated with the respective table from the serialization
specification (http://www.w3.org/TR/xslt-xquery-serialization/#serparam).

consensus of the i18n-core-wg, telecon 27 may 2005: please update the table as
described.
Comment 3 Don Chamberlin 2005-06-08 22:11:51 UTC
I have updated the serialization parameters table in the XQuery document to be
consistent with the table in the Serialization document. But I need help on one
of the parameters: "standalone". The XQuery document says the default for this
parameter is "none". The serialization document says the valid values
are "yes", "no", and "omit". This is a mismatch. The "standalone" parameter is
closely related to the "omit-xml-declaration" parameter, whose default value is
implementation-defined. I suggest that we also define the default value
for "standalone" to be implementation-defined.

consensus of the i18n-core-wg (telecon 21 May 2005):
We made this comment only about the update of the table. We don't regard the
problem you have mentioned as an i18n problem. So from our viewpoint, the bug
can be closed.
Best regards, Felix Sasaki
Comment 5 Don Chamberlin 2005-06-27 15:51:23 UTC
Reopened for approval of the working group to change the default value
of "stand-alone" to "implementation-defined".
Comment 6 Don Chamberlin 2005-06-30 21:40:48 UTC
On June 29, 2005, the Query Working Group approved changing the default value
of "standalone" to be implementation-defined. This bug report can now be closed.
