Hi Aurelien

>From previous discussions with the IG, it would appear that this fails 3.2.5 but not 3.2.2.

Do you consider opening new window with a target blank on a link without prior notice to the user as a WCAG success criteria failure ? (example : w3c website)

from a read of How to Meet 3.2.2 (On Input) - http://www.w3.org/WAI/WCAG20/quickref/20140408/#consistent-behavior-unpredictable-change

it would appear not to be a failure.
