SVG 1.2 WAI comments closure process [was: Re: WAI comments on SVG 1.2 last ...]

User Agent WG, please note the change of suggested posting address to
wai-xtech@w3.org. This will allow exchanges between UAWG and WCAG
participants.

WCAG WG, at Wendy's suggestion I want to draw your attention to the
Last Call review for SVG 1.2 which is due to close this week. See the
link from the UAWG comments, linked below. Or start fresh on the TR
page at http://www.w3.org/TR/#WD.

This note describes how I plan to run the comment process in PF so as
to represent the work UA has invested in reviewing SVG 1.2. This is
an announcement. Please do not reply-all to this cross-posted
message. Please follow up on the substance, that is to say on the SVG
1.2 specification and its predictable access advantages and
disadvantages, to XTECH.

Jon, Wendy, Gregg or Chris, if you want to suggest changes in the
process as stated here, please contact me off-list. [Copies to
mcmay+p@w3.org and wai-liaison@w3.org are good, though.]

Thank you very much.

Let's tighten that up a little: get them to the PF list in time to
read before the PF call Wednesday. SVG will extend us the courtesy of
a few extra days and we will need it. PF will be considering comments
on SVG 1.2 in a telecon on Wednesday at 1700 UTC (noon Eastern).
Written comments should now please go to wai-xtech@w3.org,
preferrably by 1700 UTC *Tuesday* so we have a day to read before
the telecon on Wednesday.

I would like to invite UA and WCAG participants who have participated in the
development of these comments to join the PF call Wednesday. Please
let me know (To: Alfred.S.Gilman@IEEE.org, Cc: mcmay+p@w3.org) if you
would like to be invited, so I can ensure you have all the read-ahead
materials.

Jon, I hope you will be able to join us.
