[Fwd: Re: Referring to ISO TS 16071:2003]

Hi,

Roberto has sent me some comments about the way in which we refer to the
ISO doc. These changes have been made in my version of the draft:

Roberto wrote:

Since our document will be normative, i suggest to change this:

"At the time of publication, the last stable version number for this
document is ISO TS 16071:2003[ISO16071]. However, it is expected that a
final version will be released in 2006."

with

"At the time of publication, the last stable version number for this
document is ISO TS 16071:2003[ISO-TS-16071]. However, it is expected
that an ISO based on ISO TS 16071:2003 will be released in 2006."

This because is not sure that the new ISO will mantain the same number:
also is sure that will change the ISO reference potentially to ISO
9241-111 or similar 9241 (for stay in the HCI group).
Also the reference [ISO-TS-16071] is more good than [ISO16071].

All depends to what we request to respect.
7.2 cited in the public draft for me is good.

These checkpoints can be met to one of three levels designed as
"application" in part 7.2 of ISO TS 16071:2003:
   a.. Level 1:
a.. The authoring interface meets guidelines designated as "core" in
Part 7.2 of ISO TS 16071:2003.
   b.. Level 2:
a.. The authoring interface meets guidelines designated as "core",
and "primary" in Part 7.2 of ISO TS 16071:2003.
   c.. Level 3:
a.. The authoring interface meets guidelines designated as "core",
"primary", and "secondary" in Part 7.2 of ISO TS 16071:2003.

I've put some corrections:
- place the "application" reference before the levels, due that all the
requirements will refer to "application"
- substitute "or" with "and" in the requirements. This because if we ask
for "primary" for a level 2, tool must also respect the "core" (like
level 1, 2, 3 of our guidelines)

Jan
