<Lisa_Seeman> https://rawgit.com/w3c/coga/master/extension/safety2.html

Discussion of "safety" SC triggered by Mike's comments

Mary Jo querying what we mean by harm.

Lisa suggests it can include, physical, financial, legal or mental harm.

Mike proposes that we should attempt to define "harm"

<Lisa_Seeman> ACTION: lisa mike and mary jo review https://www.fcc.gov/cgb-releases-white-paper-access-issues-information-and-communication-technologies-people-cognitive [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2016/10/20-coga-minutes.html#action02]

<trackbot> Created ACTION-183 - Mike and mary jo review https://www.fcc.gov/cgb-releases-white-paper-access-issues-information-and-communication-technologies-people-cognitive [on Lisa Seeman - due 2016-10-27].

Several people have looked at an earlier version of the FCC white paper on cognitive accessibility - the general conclusion is that it has less content than our work.

<Lisa_Seeman> https://rawgit.com/w3c/coga/master/extension/consistent-navigation.html

Janina has informed them of our work - they were glad that it is happening.

Thaddeus suggested adding "unless initiated by the user" to conformance - Lisa proposed that we do that - no objections.

<Lisa_Seeman> https://rawgit.com/w3c/coga/master/extension/user-information.html

Mike's comment on "User-information" in the Google Doc was discussed

<Lisa_Seeman> Don’t store user personal information that could be used to harm a user, without being very careful to minimise any risk to the user.

<Lisa_Seeman> mike is now comfortable

Lisa's text above is a response to that comment - and Mike is OK with that.

<Lisa_Seeman> does anyone mind adding this to the discription

<kirkwood> +1

<maryjom> +1

Lisa will review (and probably add) the links that Thaddeus included in his comment on "User information"

Everyone should continue to look through the SC that are up for review (in the Google Doc)

<kirkwood> will do

the google doc, on difficulties in our process https://docs.google.com/document/d/1bxhXLpsqIy5p6zZHxlsSvjmhUjFqSFGCgE4eelRJxH8/edit#heading=h.yp16qowqoxpn

be done

If people agree with Lisa's comments in the process difficulties document then just say that you agree - don't reiterate the details.

Agenda finished - EARLY!!!
