Steven: Two issues: 1) does DOMActivate have a default action

and 2) what to name the *-error events if they are fatal.

Erik: For the second one, I don't really have an answer, and I do have an action to work on.

Steven: there is a reason to have it cancellable, right?

Erik: It should be exactly like click
... there is one scenario (submit), where it make sense to cancel
... so it does mean it has a default action in cases

Steven: I'll take the action to correct it.
