zakim: next item

Public review of 'Requirements for WCAG 2.0 Extensions' (FPWD) https://www.w3.org/2002/09/wbs/35422/ExtensionsFPWD/

Josh: We sent out the survey there were some comments.

MichaelC: Changes mostly editorial, Abstract status may need to change during publication, many editorial, getting more substantial -- need reference WCAG 2.0 at least. Examples should be in an example class, acknowledgements section. They are all editorial but it changes the look.

Josh: Sent it out, get comments, and extension example, know of examples

<Ryladog> +1

Andrew: submit a new example extension pull request.

+1

Josh: We have gone through the responses. Do we put out the document. No objections.

<rakesh> +1

<david> +1 although I except I'm hoping we will end up with one extension at the end

<Sarah_Swierenga> +1

<yatil> \o/

<Joshue108> +1

RESOLUTION: Accepted for public review WCAG 2 Extensions.

Andrew: Make sure there is one item out on call for consensus.

<Joshue108> q

<Joshue108> wd: i've looked thru the sufficient conditions, and dont know if we need a fail case here

<david> I would like to see a fail for not being able to see a label on focus

<Joshue108> awk:what are you thinking about?

<Joshue108> wd: proximity, css...its easy to have a visual association that doesnt reflect semantics correctly.

<Joshue108> wd: how would you right a parser for some of these cases..that bothers me.

David: The parsing issues are met because there always matches.
... I would like to see a fail on focus with no display.

<david> wayne, pls mute, thanks
