SAZ: continued discussion on the Charter

CV: not receiving all the mails

SAZ: discussion currently mostly among commenters
... but will be brought back the AC list
... this is where the decision takes place

SAZ: in the last years this group has been under-resourced
... also little participation
... so progress has been rather slow
... but there has been work done
... which is not very visible to the members

http://www.w3.org/WAI/ER/

http://www.w3.org/WAI/ER/#deliv

scribe: need to make our work more visible
... also need to clarify the value preposition

SM: semantic web field much more mature today than previously
... goal of EARL is interoperability between different evaluation tools
... test samples is kind of a different direction
... more about individual tool development
... good addition to the charter if people want to work on it
... huge effort needed but could work if enough participate
... not matter of attractive charter
... but reaching out to tool vendors but also users of evaluation tools
... like agencies and consultancies
... should get their input and perspectives
... think EARL makes more sense now than some years ago
... also other work at W3C could be related now
... for example the annotations working group
... so maybe more communication aspect than the actual deliverables

SAZ: discussion about testing relates to test suites for benchmarking tools

SAZ: but also test rules for conformance testing of web content
