<dbooth> RESOLVED: Mar 31 minutes approved

FHIR RDF and Validation/Translation Task force

<dbooth> http://www.w3.org/2015/04/01-hcls-minutes.html

Eric: topics: ordering, equivalence vs same spelling

3rd item rdf syntax

ordering: FHIR JSON to FHIR RDF and back again: if n addresses order must be preserved

schema tells you what to serialize

sequence and there are alternatives to the owl sequence, there are ways to do this with annotations

annotations can be done in the instance as well

sequence would always have to have the ordering in it

issue: What RDF mechanism to use for ordering, will be an upcoming decision

<trackbot> Created ISSUE-6 - What rdf mechanism to use for ordering, will be an upcoming decision. Please complete additional details at <http://www.w3.org/2014/HCLS/track/issues/6/edit>.

If we were to name 2 properties: lab observation date and a lab creation date, what fraction of properties on a base class like resource are inherited: creation date always the same, date has multiple meanings

def for FHIR resources doesn't capture whether creation date inherits from a base resource

<dbooth> We decided to use fully qualified FHIR names for RDF properties

Decision on using Turtle for our examples

Tony: Concerns on tooling (with use or turtle)

*of

David: Turtle will be used for FHIR examples

Upcoming HL7 Meeting - Paris May 10-15

David: Are there any particular items to be discussed? Bring up issues or send email to the list

ONC comment on stable URIs and more, submitted Friday April 3

<dbooth> https://docs.google.com/document/d/1KPP5hiXCHsDovEd_68JjTHzlPEP3sLDzzMV6bzEt-Ok/edit

<dbooth> QUESTION: Does FHIR require stable URIs?

David: Still interested in receiving comments on this document

There is a stable URI defied for stucuture definition, value sets and conformance

for other instances there is no expectation that there will be a stabe URI

Is there anything in the FHIR spec that places reqs on the stability of a URI?

Llyod: no req that there be a doc at the end of it, practice that it resolve the the structure def instance
... not sure if this is spelled out as guidance in the spec

David: This should be in the spec

Llyoyd: not talking about the resource id (which changes)

There is no requirement to make it dereferencable, David would like this to be a "should"

Claude: used profile def to buid the ontology but not the urls
... pointing to whatever was the latest doc in the [?] repository

<dbooth> Proposal: We suggest to the FIHR group that a profile URI *should* be dereferenceable to an authoritative definition of to make it explicit in the FHIR spec that profile.

<Marc_Twagirumukiza> +1

<dbooth> [[ Proposal: We suggest to the FIHR group to make it explicit in the FHIR spec tha a profile URI *should* be dereferenceable to an authoritative definition of that profile. ]]

FHIR RDF project scope statement

<dbooth> https://global.gotomeeting.com/join/157514853

<dbooth> Access Code: 157-514-853

Review of PSS project scope

Tony: Is tooling part of the scope?

what tools read the profile and build the ontology?

Llyod: There should be specification and tooling

tooling added to 1b in Project Scope

David: clarification, #1: scraping FHIR defs to produce the ontology that is needed (agreement)

#1 is tooling used to produced the onotlogies, seperate from implementation in #2

added instance tooling as 2a in project scope

Llyod: ontology can deal with transformations of resources as well as other instances

Review of PSS Project Need (3.b.)

added Linked Data to last paragraph

Review of 3.c.Success Criteria

paragraph 1: change FHIR representation to FHIR object representations

<dbooth> ADJOURNED
