Chair Transition

shadi: .. may be a change in time.. suggestions, times etc..
... unfortunate that Simon could not make it for this call
... he's stepping down as chair and did excellent work
... we talked about candidate chairs and have two i. Mark Hakenen

mark: I was the initial chair of RD about 10 years ago
... limitation due to meeting conflicts to chair during the regular time..
... research scientist in accessibility..

shadi: other co chair is Vivienne (YUPEEE!)

vivienne: I'm looking forward to a change of role
... have been on the WG for about 3 years and have really enjoyed it

<scribe> .. finished PhD on accessibility and founded a company on Web site accessibility..

shadi: .. a lot of work ahead of us - we just got approval for the 2 candidates

shadi: next step is the charter
... has to go through the advisory group
... only thing that will change is the names of the chairs and dates
... may be comments coming in from the advisory committee
... will be working with the new chairs to transfer the knowledge with Simon
... Web of things and other symposia coming up
... will continue as W3 staff contact (unchanged)
... Simon will remain on the group as well

... next year would like to continue adding to the list and then prioritizing and working on a plan
... would like a mode of work with more structure discussions
... during meetings and will be putting more emphasis in the coming year
... please drop any ideas in the Wiki over the holidays

vivienne: do we have spreadsheets about topics and their state

shadi: no and would be happy to help fill in the blanks
