<SteveF> http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-html-a11y/2013Jun/0013.html

Steve has made some progress sent out email with stuff that is updated. All the section listed there are for review.

<paulc> Good progress, Steve.

SF: haven't updated lately... next will be to sort out administrative things
... needs Janina to get overview, Janina should have it soon.
... i will drop it into the editors draft and we will review., best way to get results is to file bugs... email feedback not as effective... so just file bug

Longdesc Status Update http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-html-a11y/2013May/0079.html

<MarkS> http://www.w3.org/TR/2013/WD-html-longdesc-20130606/

Longdesc published on schedule. as published this morning, announcements went out an hour ago, Mark will update home page for the group

Mark will coordinate with Charles,

Janina: don't want to dally over this, hope it will go through moving to last call quickly.

Paul: what about bug to rename it

<paulc> Current bugs list (4):

<paulc> https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/buglist.cgi?bug_status=ASSIGNED&bug_status=NEW&bug_status=REOPENED&component=HTML%20Image%20Description%20Extension&product=HTML%20WG&list_id=14640

<MarkS> https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=22187

<SteveF> https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=22187

SF: it is proposed to be rejected

HTML5 testing

SF: Make sure to wait for updates in alt guidance, before filing bugs. I have them in the list in the email

<MarkS> https://www.w3.org/2002/09/wbs/44061/html-a11y-tf-html5-testing-review/results

JS: need to test new things, purpose of this call is the musts to skip vs. the must that should not be skipped

Janina, we can look for the word MUST, as a guide to help make those decisons

Janina, OF has been hard at work for aria, and so that can be integrated into this work

S/OF/PF

SF but this will not cover mapping of roles to AOI, but I have been doing a lot of that testing already, but we need to formalize, but can be used as a basis

JS W3C proves it is imlementABLE, not whether it is imlemented, the later is encourages but not for us for CR

SF we just have to have 2 imlementations

js feature by feature bases

Media Transcript

JS JF and I will call today after 1pm EST

Media Source Extensions: Do we review?

JF what's this about?

<MarkS> https://dvcs.w3.org/hg/html-media/raw-file/tip/media-source/media-source.html

PC a set of APIs that allow client to do adaptive streaming, choose particular form of material that you want to show through the UA

JS for adaptive altnative for media, this could be our pathway

JS We at PF need to look into this more even though we have started, but it is relly important, so we should look over the shoulder

JS we will ask JeffWGBH and Sylvia

JS need deep technical read

<SteveF> https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=10941

JF have an open acton item that needs to look at controls

Subteam Reports: Bug Triage; AAPI Mapping;

Leonie: 2nd bug triage meeting w new recruits, kind of quiet, only 7-8 only one had accessibility...

JF theer a s

JF there are some bugs, do I owe bugs, we agree all up to our eyeballs

Mark, they were assigned list of 4 bugs I sent them to you this morning JF

JF 10642 is way more than a bug

<MarkS> https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=10642

Leonie one other question... accessibility tf component, with shadow bugs, as a way to track bugs we are interested in but really don't really want to track... i'm concerned it could multiply

JS what do you thingk

<MarkS> http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-html-a11y/2013May/0086.html

Leonie, probably don't have time to manage it properly, we should do it with keywords, bugs that are not currently bugs but could be in the future... b

JS we can wait for a decision when Charles comes back to us

JS Charles chairs next week... put on the agenda

Wiki, TF pages, similar administrative items

Mark, been doing updates nd longdesc, , now I will go back to task force work statement

(Overdue) Actions Review http://www.w3.org/WAI/PF/HTML/track/actions/open

JF 153 and 136 are linked, the last piece of work i have is to delve into the control issue, it is the artifact of a larger problem, have not done it , leave open
