ACTION-1200

action-1200?

<trackbot> ACTION-1200 -- Cynthia Shelly to create table for author errors in UAIG, with columns for each API. -- due 2013-05-01 -- OPEN

<trackbot> https://www.w3.org/WAI/PF/Group/track/actions/1200

JS: <outlines the action>

CS: I will put that on my list to do this week.
... I will send some html to you because I have no access to the document.

JS: that will be fine.

action-851

action-851?

<trackbot> ACTION-851 -- Cynthia Shelly to look through APG design patterns re: menus for examples that relate to UAIG 5.8.4 -- due 2013-02-01 -- OPEN

<trackbot> https://www.w3.org/WAI/PF/Group/track/actions/851

CS: I remember this as being as closed at the f2f.
... that we were just not going to add the examples, and punt it.
... let me find the f2f minutes.

<cyns> https://www.w3.org/2013/04/24-pf-minutes.html

CS: we decided to just make it a SHOULD.

JS: that means no tests are required for CR testing.
... I'll make a note in the action item, and add the SHOULD if need be. Then I'll close the action.

<davidb> http://www.w3.org/WAI/PF/aria-implementation/#mapping_events_menus

DB: I agree.

Issue-550

issue-550?

<trackbot> ISSUE-550 -- Come up with a date to stop editing UAIG in preparation for the next Last Call Draft -- open

<trackbot> https://www.w3.org/WAI/PF/Group/track/issues/550

JS: only things remaining are the menu events, which we just discussed and this bugzilla:

https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=19772#c5

CS: it says I can close the bug. I will.

JS: and I will add back in the text.
... once I fix the menu event section and the expanded-on-combobox action, 550 will be done.

outstanding issues and actions.

issue-552?

<trackbot> ISSUE-552 -- UAIG spec. is inaccurate wrt selection events pertaining to aria-selected being applied (MSAA/IA2) -- open

<trackbot> https://www.w3.org/WAI/PF/Group/track/issues/552

JS: here is more info from Rich:

https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Member/w3c-wai-pf/2013JanMar/0083.html

http://www.w3.org/WAI/PF/aria-implementation/#mapping_events_selection

DB: this is the kind of thing I would rather do outside the meeting.
... could I have an action?

<scribe> ACTION: David to look into ISSUE-552 and report back on how to deal with it. [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2013/05/09-aapi-minutes.html#action01]

<trackbot> Created ACTION-1220 - Look into ISSUE-552 and report back on how to deal with it. [on David Bolter - due 2013-05-16].

action-1220?

<trackbot> ACTION-1220 -- David Bolter to look into ISSUE-552 and report back on how to deal with it. -- due 2013-05-16 -- OPEN

<trackbot> https://www.w3.org/WAI/PF/Group/track/actions/1220

issue-559?

<trackbot> ISSUE-559 -- Missing member of relationships -- open

<trackbot> https://www.w3.org/WAI/PF/Group/track/issues/559

DB: it's in the table for aria-atomic.
... but, in section 5.8.2, it only talks about ATK/AT-SPI

JS: and, it's a SHOULD in 5.8.2, but the table is a MUST.

DB: that's inconsistent. We should simply refer back to aria-atomic from section 5.8.3 and remove the SHOULD text.

JS: I agree.

<scribe> ACTION: Joseph for ISSUE-559, remove the text near the end of the section about ATK/AT-SPI about aria-atomic and member-of, and point to the aria-atomic='true' entry in the mapping table. [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2013/05/09-aapi-minutes.html#action02]

<trackbot> Created ACTION-1221 - For ISSUE-559, remove the text near the end of the section about ATK/AT-SPI about aria-atomic and member-of, and point to the aria-atomic='true' entry in the mapping table. [on Joseph Scheuhammer - due 2013-05-16].

action-1221?

<trackbot> ACTION-1221 -- Joseph Scheuhammer to for ISSUE-559, remove the text near the end of the section about ATK/AT-SPI about aria-atomic and member-of, and point to the aria-atomic='true' entry in the mapping table. -- due 2013-05-16 -- OPEN

<trackbot> https://www.w3.org/WAI/PF/Group/track/actions/1221

issue-560?

<trackbot> ISSUE-560 -- MSAA/IA2 spec. inconsistent with implementation in FF on aria-activedescendant -- open

<trackbot> https://www.w3.org/WAI/PF/Group/track/issues/560

issue-586?

<trackbot> ISSUE-586 does not exist.

issue-583?

<trackbot> ISSUE-583 -- Elements that are descendants of an element having aria-activedescendant should not all be focusable -- open

<trackbot> https://www.w3.org/WAI/PF/Group/track/issues/583

https://www.w3.org/WAI/PF/testharness/testcases/edit?testsuite_id=1&testcase_id=190

https://www.w3.org/WAI/PF/testharness/testresults?testsuite_id=1&testcase_id=190

JS: Looks like time has fixed the issue. Rich passed the test on April 4.

resolved: close ISSUE-560 since the test case passes under MSAA+IA2.

DB: what about issue 583?

JS: Rich has pointed out that some descendants are not for interaction, and should not be focusable.
... he has suggested to add a constraint that the descendant must have an ID attribute.

DB: that's not robust.

JS: I agree.

<davidb> http://www.w3.org/WAI/PF/aria-implementation/#keyboard-focus_aria-activedescendant

DB: look at 4 A: the aa at least requires a role.
... but unclear what the latter part of the statement about HTML elements.
... I think it also means that any descendant that has an ID and a role, or is a focusable HTML element (input, anchor, tab ndex), qualifies as focus-able.

<scribe> ACTION: David to look into ISSUE-583, and think about section 4.3, step 4A to see if that answers the question. [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2013/05/09-aapi-minutes.html#action03]

<trackbot> Created ACTION-1222 - Look into ISSUE-583, and think about section 4.3, step 4A to see if that answers the question. [on David Bolter - due 2013-05-16].
