ISSUE-90: Namespace used in ontology
namespace-in-ontology
Namespace used in ontology
- State:
- CLOSED
- Product:
- Ontology
- Raised by:
- Stian Soiland-Reyes
- Opened on:

- Description:
- The OWL at http://dvcs.w3.org/hg/prov/raw-file/default/ontology/ProvenanceOntology.owl uses the namespace http://w3.org/ProvenanceOntology.owl# which sound quote temporary.
Although we have not yet decided on the formal name for the model and been assigned a namespace under http://www.w3.org/TR/ (Luc?) - the namespace URI should at least be somewhat resolvable so that it makes sense in example RDFs, probably something like http://www.w3.org/2011/prov/wiki/Ontology
If we want to make it very obvious that it's a temporary URI, then perhaps we could use http://www.example.com/2011/prov - Related Actions Items:
