1.1F2 updates

ED: have done changes to the testsuite, no spec updates
... saw CL did some checkins on funciri syntax
... asks for moving the deadline

PD: that would be good

ED: agreed
... move deadline one week ahead, May 7

Removing paragraph about calcmode=paced for animateTransform

AG: wasn't that brought up by someone else too?
... I can do that

<scribe> ACTION: AG to remove the paragraph mentioned in http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/www-svg/2010Apr/0141.html in SVG 1.1F2 [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2010/04/29-svg-minutes.html#action01]

<trackbot> Created ACTION-2777 - Remove the paragraph mentioned in http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/www-svg/2010Apr/0141.html in SVG 1.1F2 [on Anthony Grasso - due 2010-05-06].

fonts-elem-05

http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/www-svg/2010Apr/0147.html

ED: I think we should backport the test from 1.2T, since the 1.1 test is rather pointless (doesn't test what it says it's testing)

<scribe> ACTION: ed to backport fonts-elem-05-t.svg from 1.2T to 1.1F2 [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2010/04/29-svg-minutes.html#action02]

<trackbot> Created ACTION-2778 - Backport fonts-elem-05-t.svg from 1.2T to 1.1F2 [on Erik Dahlström - due 2010-05-06].

<pdengler> <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="no"?>

<pdengler> <!DOCTYPE svg PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD SVG 1.0//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/2001/REC-SVG-20010904/DTD/svg10.dtd">

<pdengler> <svg xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2000/svg" width="12.5in" height="7.625in" viewBox="0 0 900 549" xml:space="preserve" color-interpolation-filters="sRGB" class="st26">

<pdengler> <style type="text/css">

<pdengler> rect:hover {fill: yellow}

discussion about use

<pdengler> </style>

<pdengler> <g id="blueRect" >

<pdengler> <rect x="18" y="68" width="261" height="81" class="blueStyle" />

<pdengler> </g>

<pdengler> <use xlink:href="#blueRect" x="0 " y="100" />

<pdengler> </svg>

PD: in opera all rects turn yellow when hovering the rect
... in webkit if you hover the first rect it turns yellow, if you hover the second nothing happens
... in firefox if you hover over a rect it turns yellow regardless of it's a use or not
... i think firefox does it right, but IE have it implemented like webkit now, doens't feel right

http://dev.w3.org/SVG/profiles/1.1F2/ua-tests/

ED: do you expect all the pseudoclasses work the same way?
... or just the :hover one

PD: all of them as if the elements were cloned

JW: if I have external resources then probably the style doesn't make sense to apply to those <use>'s
... depends on the person's usecase

PD: what would you expect to happen in such a scenario? (the library one9

JW: wouldn't want the style to apply to the library
... the inline case is probably more common

ED: would like more tests regarding <use>, does microsoft have more tests to contribute in this area?

PD: will ask

ED: would be interested in seeing if there are differences between pseudoclass selectors and normal selectors on shadowtrees

public-fx

ED: since the publicfx telcon moved the timeslot let's cancel the svgwg monday telcon
