Bidi WG Note startup

http://www.w3.org/International/wiki/BidiProposal

Richard: outlined proposed plans for moving the bidi proposal of Aharon forward as fast as possible to FPWD and then wide review, followed by another WD which we could then share with HTML folks

<scribe> ACTION: all, to review http://www.w3.org/International/wiki/BidiProposal and comment on public-i18n-core mailing list, with a view to agreeing to move forward with publication as FPWD on 22nd during telecon [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2010/02/17-core-minutes.html#action01]

XSL-FO ruby

http://www.w3.org/International/datespace/2010/02/jlreq-examples/

Richard: described work on ruby, including the document in the link above, which attempts to implement JLREQ examples in existing markup and CSS properties

... still intending to send more feedback to Tony Graham

... Richard has become the editor for the CSS3 Ruby module - he doesn't expect to be able to take this through a new CR alone, but hopes to be able to move it forward a little - he already has a draft that is nearly ready for upload to replace current editor's draft; it contains change marks for all significant changes, but also moves the document back to WD (from CR); it also contains editor's notes about issues, questions, etc.

DOM3 Key Events

richard has sent some feedback to the DOM folks proposing clarifications related to character value values (one of the key value values) - waiting for resolution of that before sending other comments
