<scribe> ACTION: items to [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2010/01/12-htmlt-minutes.html#action01]

<krisk> agenda: Status Review For Action Items (#1 -> #4)

<scribe> agenda: Test subission process

<scribe> agenda: Aim for six months time

Kris: First action was setting up task force wiki by MikeSmith, now done.

<krisk> wiki is at -> http://www.w3.org/html/wg/wiki/Testing

Second action was plh coming up with timeframe to escape from CVS...

plh is on other call, will come back to that.

<plh> I don't have a clear timeline yet but we're escaping CVS. Mercurial it will be.

Third action was to add to the wiki meeting dates, and deal with folder names

Third action was done

Fourth action was jgriffin to add stuff to wiki, not yet done.

Kris: I'll update action items after the meeting.

<krisk> lets move to agenda item #2 Review Test Submission Process

Test submission process

Kris: We talked about using CVS for a while, over the weekend I created a few folders in CVS
... Format I'd like to follow is submitted/feature/tests
... I added some tests there for cross-domain security checking

<krisk> see http://dev.w3.org/html5/tests/submission/Microsoft/windowobject/security_location_0.htm

http://dev.w3.org/cvsweb/html5/tests/

Kris: If stuff moves to another spec, we can always move it later
... I checked in a spreadsheet to keep track of test status
... like approval status, submitter, etc.

[Brief discussion about format of spreadsheet, currently in Excel '97, might move to XML with JS to turn it into something more readable]

Action 2, to Mercurial

plh: Should be pretty quick to setup, just a question of webmaster having time to set it up
... should be sometime between next week and within a month

Kris: Should be able to move to it in Feb

Where we want to be at 6 months from now

Kris: I believe the Window object is a good place to start writing tests for
... I'd like to have as a goal parts of the spec we believed were solid to get tests approved
... and not wait until later in the process and have to deal with tests written an age ago

Geoffrey: What about getting the tests from html5lib and other parser tests?

Kris: Yeah, that'd seem like a great place to start too.

plh: Do want to focus as a group on one bit or not?

Kris: I'd like to have a agreement on what to work on in general.

<krisk> I'll create action item(s) to update wiki with parser/window object features and action items

ACTION gsnedders to create wiki page about parser tests

[Variety of discussion aboiut what to work on, conclude to work on parser/window.]

Kris: Adjorn.
