as usual, just finishing off earlier call

Charlie: I've been cooking some
ideas on using ODF as an interaction format
... our short paper has been accepted at the Open Documents
    conference
... we're thinking os including a tiny bit of ODF in the
    finance demo

... What we're thinking of doing with the ODF bit is a
    projection on the repeat
... using ODF's XForms to import the expense data
... Look at page 2 of the pdf
Jack: How are you integrating?
Charlie: XForms model is in ODF,
    but not repeat
... I don't use repeat in this example
... I don't have much time to implement this
... but a refinement can add other things like repeat and
    switch-case
... we have a deadline of Oct 8 for this XG
... It is fairly simple data substitution
... interesting from a Ubiquity point of view, such as the
    table of contents
... the main point is showing that you can use existing
    browsers for extensible content
Steven: On that point, I think
that part of our output is the need to define an architecture
    of a Javascript-based extensibility
... so that people can write modules and know they will work
    when they plug them in
... and furthermore, we need a snappy name for it, like AJAX
    is, that encapsulates the meme
Charlie: I agree
Jack: I've been too busy on other projects to do much
Charlie: Timeline?
Jack: I have lots to do; but if I can use the video tag in FF 3.5, it shouldn't take too much time
Charlie: I'm here next week, then out for a week
Jack: And then I'm gone for three
    weeks
... can we define what it is we need to achieve, because I can
give it at most 4 weeks
    ... (paying projects get priority)
Steven's battery dies
Sorry about that; back
Jack: Maybe we can discuss later
this week, to discuss what is possible now with Ubiquity
    SMIL
... The least I can do is package the code - I'll do it
    tonight
