<YvesS> We have appologies from Camille
Christian to review TBX
Christian: need to continue work on this - ongoing
Yves and Felix to continue discussion with HTML5, XHTML2 for ITS
Yves: no progress here
<scribe> ACTION: Felix to fill in the mime type registration form [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2009/06/23-i18nits-minutes.html#action01]
<trackbot> Created ACTION-99 - Fill in the mime type registration form [on Felix Sasaki - due 2009-06-30].
Yves to look at rdf:text
<YvesS> http://www.w3.org/TR/2009/WD-rdf-text-20090421/#rtfn:length
<YvesS> http://www.w3.org/TR/2009/WD-rdf-text-20090421/#rtfn:length
Yves: wondering if this is XML stuff at all, it is rather RDF
Felix: RDF does not require a single serialization, of course that is hard for localization
Christian: does i18n core look into this?
Felix: yes, specifically the usage of language information
Yves: so out of scope for ITS, i18n core is looking into this
<YvesS> http://www.w3.org/TR/#last-call
going through specs
Christian: is i18n core looking at web cgm 2.1?
Richard: we did, on a part of it
Yves: no volunteer for web cgm 2.1, not looking at it for now
now http://www.w3.org/TR/2009/WD-ttaf1-dfxp-20090602/
Yves: for this time we postpone last call review, come back to it later, with more bandwidth
nothing new here
<YvesS> http://www.w3.org/International/its/wiki/RulesRepository
Yves: testing trados studio 9, its:translate and its:withinText works pretty well
Christian: are there references to the ITS spec or something, i.e. that makes it easy to find the way to ITS?
Yves: yes, there is a filter
related to "ITS", I checked all test files with have for
"translate" and "withinText", all files pass
... easy to find, as one of the XML filters.
brian is working on xml2xliff implementation using xslt
Yves: difficult to customize for
specific formats
... ITS would help with that
Felix: see web interface here http://fabday.fh-potsdam.de/~sasaki/its/
yves: might be interesting for Bryan, I will send him a link
Felix: link above allows to use ITS
<scribe> ACTION: Yves to talk to Bryan and point him to http://fabday.fh-potsdam.de/~sasaki/its/ [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2009/06/23-i18nits-minutes.html#action02]
<trackbot> Created ACTION-100 - Talk to Bryan and point him to http://fabday.fh-potsdam.de/~sasaki/its/ [on Yves Savourel - due 2009-06-30].
Yves: will do some testing on Felix page as well
<scribe> no progress here
yves: will not be helpful if nothing happens on the ITS streaming processor
Christian introduces tekom conference tutorial proposal related to ITS and XLIFF
richard: presented at
localization world a while ago, people know it but do not know
what it is about
... wondering if I should talk about ITS at next localization
world
yves: ITS would be a nice topic
+1
yves: meeting jluly 21st?
felix: will be on holiday
yves: will have meeting july 21st
