<fjh> need to edit text to match http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-ws-policy/2007Jul/0038.html

<asir> Chris' proposal message July 38 on the archive

<asir> amendments are at http://www.w3.org/2007/07/18-ws-policy-minutes.html#item11

<asir> Text is in Section 5.3.2

<fjh> replacing the last paragraph with the folloowing:

<fjh> If the assertion author had not provided for the wsp:Optional attribute to

<fjh> be included on the assertion, then policy expression authors would be forced to express the optionality of a behavior as two explicit policy alternatives, one with and one without that assertion when including assertions of that type in their policies.

<fjh> and replacing the foo:Bar assertion with a real assertion such as wsrmp:RMAssertion

<fjh> http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-ws-policy/2007Jun/0095.html

<fjh> (that was the amendment)

frederick: the editors agree to the following to resolve issues 353: the text in the proposal from chris plus the ammendment will be updated to section 5.3.2.

<fjh> toufic has action and will also update email thread

errata

felix posted a reference from addressing for errata

this is related to action item 359

<fjh> addressing errata page shows changes in a red-line format

<fsasaki> information to provide:

<fsasaki> Each entry has the following information:

<fsasaki> * A unique entry number

<fsasaki> * The date it was added to the errata page.

<fsasaki> * The section referred to.

<fsasaki> * A description of the problem and correction if applicable. Changes to the text of the spec are indicated thus: deleted text, new text, modified text .

<fsasaki> * A rationale for making the change (not required for editorial errata).

frederick: what determines substantive or editorial

felix: that is a determiniation of the WG
... the editors only determine how to maintain it

asir: what is the task?

felix: this is an html page to track proposed changes

frederick: the working group determines what to accept

felix: the editors just edit the page
... how to deal with the errata is a different question

asir: maybe we should have a shadow page

frederick: its just a manual process to move it to the public page

felix: it just needs someon on the editorial team to edit it

<fjh> simply html page that is checked in to cvs to display on public page

toufic: needs to drop

<fjh> could have two cvs checkins to move from one place to another to have staging, not clear if needed

touric: sent a note in reply to the thread from paul

frederick: we still need to come up with a plan to get guidelines & primer to last call but we need to move that to the agenda for next week
... the question today about the errata is needed for the WG
... proposing that we respond to the WG to accept the format as per ws-addressing, and the editors will manage the edits, and there is still some discussion of exactly how to do this

asir: how is xslt dealing with this?

<fsasaki> http://www.w3.org/2005/01/soap12-mtom-errata

felix: xmlp is using the same format

<fsasaki> (except change marks)

<fjh> Summary: agree to format used by WS-Addressing, including red-lined format. Editors will mange edits, all editorial team has access.

<fjh> Mechanism is to edit a single HTML file maintained in CVS and once checked in visible to web.

felix: ask the working group if they want staging

<fjh> Decision by WG/Chairs needed regarding staging.

frederick to send email to WG --and Maryann to point to this mail as reporter next week

frederick: AOB?
... next call we'll pick up with anymore issues and a plan to get to REC

asir: by next week hopefully all the issues will be closed

<fjh> proposal - plan to get work done by 21st.

:-)
