Reconducted Action Items

No much progress on the action items below, so they are just reconducted.

<scribe> ACTION: Dom to look at implementing an id for test session [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2007/03/13-mwts-minutes.html#action05]

<scribe> ACTION: Dom to check whether we're allowed to put the WCSS Test suite in the mobile test harness [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2007/03/27-mwts-minutes.html#action06]

<scribe> ACTION: Dom to explore using XHTML MP as part of the harness [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2007/03/27-mwts-minutes.html#action09]

(OMA contact said there would be (good) news on the XHTML MP/WCSS front soon)

<scribe> ACTION: Carmelo to send review of UAProf test suite [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2007/06/26-mwts-minutes.html#action07]

Community-based Test suite

<scribe> ACTION: Dom to look at creating submission framework [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2007/05/22-mwts-minutes.html#action10] [DONE]

Dom: Wilhelm and Chritophe sent feedback; the systems seems ready to announce to me.

Carmelo: What's the limit on file submissions? Does the system warn the user when the file is bigger?

Dom: It's been raised to 10K per Wilhelm's suggestion, and indeed, the user is warned on files too big.

Carmelo: What about the limit size of the description field?

Dom: 64K.

Dmitris: the email address of the submitter shouldn't appear publicly, so as to not deter people from contributing by fear of spam

Dom: the email addresses won't appear publicly - the review page is restricted to people with W3C accounts; that said, I'll add a note to say expliictly that the email addresses will remain private

Carmelo: is it a problem to restrict the possible formats of files submitted?

Dom: submitters can use the "other" option when their files doesn't fit one of the predefined formats; I'll add SVG though

Dom: the review interface only lists test cases at this point, but later on, it will allow us to manage test cases, categorize them, etc; I'll develop it as we get a better sense of what we need from it, when we get submissions

Carmelo: Do submitters get an acknowledgement of their submissions by email?

Dom: They don't at this time; but that's a good point, I'll add to the system
... I'd need a volunteer to draft our call for contributions; would like to be able to send this before the end of the month if possible

Carmelo: I'll send a first draft this afternoon, so that hopefully we're ready to call for contributions on Friday

<scribe> ACTION: Carmelo to draft a call for contribution for the open test suite [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2007/07/24-mwts-minutes.html#action05]
