Action-222 and Issue 3989

Two things: some style sheet work and the actual content

Should the style sheet work should be done first?

Dave: may be felix could look at the style sheet part

Asir: can be done in parallel

Frederick: needs to know the new vocabulary

Maryann: let's set some milestones and work backwards

Asir: what are the milestones

Next WG F2F - May 23 and 24

Maryann: be done for the May F2F

Dave: offered to do to do some amount of work this week, willing to wait

Discussing the contribution

Maryann: Section 7 doesn't illustrate how to author assertions

Frederick: table maps good practices to existing text and shows what good practices need explantory text

Asir: for format, all we need is a new element or attribute in the XML spec
... we can use <p> until the new element or attribute arrives

<dorchard> <p role="practice">Provide Forwards Compatibility Override Rule: Languages with forwards compatibility support SHOULD provide an override for indicating incompatible extensions.</p>

Frederick: why don't we use the new attribute

Dave: am going to use it

<dorchard> actions: get style sheet to format properly, update text

<dorchard> generate the list..

Dave: how to generate the list, we need style sheet work for that

<dorchard> style sheet for generating the list

Asir: each substantial section would carry a problem statement & description, one or more good practices and one or more examples to illustrate the good practices
... see the contributed model

<scribe> ACTION: Felix to look into updating the stylesheets / xmlspec to accomodate the new attribute to capture good practices [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2007/03/28-ws-policy-eds-minutes.html#action03]
