RESOLUTION: closed, item is completed

action item 83 create snapshot of primer & guidelines

asir: sent out the snapshots and sent links to mailing list

fred: would be good to create a diff against the snapshot

asir: i will make a separate diff

umit: what's the process for generating diffs

prasad: in the past we did it only when we had a new published draft for the wg
... this is different because we're just trying to track the different edits being done to the guidelines
... fred was asking for one more diff to see his changes

<scribe> ACTION: to asir to generate a diff between draft for action 77 and action 84 [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2006/11/29-ws-policy-eds-minutes.html#action03]

fred: its been a little confusing on the mailing list , this is just an editorial pass and i will open issues for any substantive changes

asir: what's the ETA?

prasad: the current date is friday

fred: i think all editors should read and post to the list any other issues with the current draft
... we just need to be clear that fred is the only one editing

prasad: lets open a new one for all the editors

<asir> Here is the action-77 diff http://tinyurl.com/yjpbyf

rrsagent: where am i?

asir: are you doing the whole document or just the changes?

fred: i was going to do the whole document

umit: yes, that is what you agreed to do

prasad: asir, do you have an issue?

asir: i'm worried about changing things that are not the will of the working group

fred: i wouldn't move anything around or make substantive changes

umit: we will have the diff, if we find anything contoversial we can address it then

asir: is it ok if i generate the diff noon pacific on friday?

fred: yes that should be ok

action item 85

prasad: action is on felix

asir: i don't think that is done

fred: yes its taking a little time

prasad: is umit on it?

asir: yes umit is already there

action item 86

asir: this is done

RESOLUTION: completed, action is done

asir: i had a question on moving up delivery of guidelines & primer
... what i'm hearing is that we will be done on friday

umit: this is not taking into account new issues

fred: why wouldn't we try to roll in simple changes on the 6th?

asir: it will take some time to get those in and get the groups agreement

prasad: fred is shooting for friday

fred: when are we saying this would go out to the group?

umit: i'm assuming if we send it tues, people will not have read it
... so then we would give them another week to approve

fred: i should be ok
... i am concerned that the 13th will be the time they need to approved

umit: we can give them enough time to know

<daveo> I have to drop off at my usual 11:45 drop off..

paul: we can put in a status section that points to the open bugs

prasad: we have already given all editors an action to get comments by friday

fred: if people have additional edits on friday, they can do it after i'm done
... my goal was to make sure we got the issue (77) done right and in the process do editing fixes

prasad: is this both documents?

asir: yes

prasad: what about the diffs for the working group?

asir: i can do that on monday

prasad: ok, i will try to generate the diffs on tues

agenda item 4-- status of primer and guidelines

prasad: we just did that
