Administrative

maryann: had question about reporting

prasad: report on the open actions

toufic: : why was maryann reporting, and for next week who will be reporting?

prasad: it will be the chair

toufic: so next week I (toufic) will be reporting
... arrangements for next week? how do we get back on track?

troufic: if prasad chairs next week we're back on track

toufic: and I will scribe

prasad: asir is out, and dave was busy this week

review open items

toufic: we need to reassign asir's actions, and this already was done by prasad taking one

prasad: yes and there is one other one still pending

toufic: should I change the date on 12

prasad: yeah , maybe we should do it one week after asir comes back

toufic: lets change it to 10/16

ACTION 1

<prasad> http://www.w3.org/2005/06/tracker/wspolicyeds/actions/open

maryann: i was waiting for you to ack

toufic: i closed the item and its acked

maryann: i lost my cvs access so i'm trying to get access again

prasad: if we want a new editors draft it needs to be done before the 10th

10 -

prasad: will be done this week

Action 12 -- Asir still owns but date moved to 10/16

Action 19 ---

toufic: had a question, prasad replied will fix this week

Action 20

felix: made progress today will be done by the 9th

action 32 -Dave O not hear, touf to send mai

toufic: proposal 3 of daves mail might be related

action 43

<toufic> http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=3577

<toufic> http://www.w3.org/2005/06/tracker/wspolicy/actions/108

maryann: i'm confused about what to do

prasad: you need to first understand the qname before you can determine if you intersect

maryann: it seems to me that there is normative text and there is perhaps an example that can be given in the primer

but i'm not sure what to put in the guidelines

prasad: the guidelines has some text that addresses this ......( this was from the f2f minutes)

maryann: who do I ask for clarification?

felix: suggest sending to public list so the group is aware of this discussion

prasad: hard to tell who to send this to so send it to the public list

felix: propose to try to capture the discussion rather than trying to do it later

maryann: will draft a mail and send to the editors for an ack before sending to public list

Action 44

prasad: discussed in the call today, waiting for an editors draft of the attachment document

Action 45

maryann: i took it without knowing I was going to lose cvs

so i'm open to others volunteering to help

toufic: volunteer to take ACTION 47
... will change date in 45 to 10/09
... reassign Action 47 to toufic

Action 47 reassigned to toufic

Action 50 toufic to send mail to Dave O

<scribe> TOPIC : Editorial team reporting

toufic: what should be reported?

prasad: editors draft ....do you think we could have another generated by next week?

toufic: pending on daves 2 open actions

prasad: we haven't closed any open items this week

toufic: when were we supposed to have an editors draft out?

prasad: last week

toufic: next week will be the status on the draft

maryann: i wasn't sure if we're supposed to report on all our open actions or just the ones listed by the chairs in the agenda

prasad: only the ones on the agenda
... in addition to the actions in the agenda we probably want to give a status on primer & guidelines
... if we're done with all the actions on the 9th

<fsasaki> chair: Toufic

prasad: then we need to generate working group drafts

toufic: update on the drafts & guidelines

felix: prepare a new working draft
... normally you would say its published when the group approves

<fsasaki> http://www.w3.org/TR

prasad: so we need to have closed on the one going to the lise

felix: i have a working group action to check in the guidelines doc
... the state of a working draft is an approved working draft
... asir has done this before for 2 previous versions and this is a tagging of the documents

toufic: will say we're done with the action items and we say we think they're ready for the working group to approve and then we will tag

felix: when the working group says we agree, then we tag it

toufic: we recommend it and if they approve then it gets tagged

prasad: what about the diffs?

felix: if you use the diff-task then they are automatically generated

prasad: does it pick up from the last draft?

felix: from the last published draft

prasad: we need to send those out too?

felix: a link to the documents and the diffs and then tag the directory

<fsasaki> type "ant diff" to generate the diff documents

any other items?

<fsasaki> adjourned
