Section 3.1.2 is unclear

State:
OPEN
Product:
3.1 Classes of the Uncertainty Ontology
Raised by:
Michael Pool
Opened on:

Description:
World - This represents the world about which the Sentence is said.

This isn't very clear. If we're talking about possible world semantics we should specify that, but I don't think we are. But I'm not really sure what we're talking about. Are we referring to context, state of affairs, an actual planet, the universe?

2008-03-08 21:13:39: We are not talking about possible worlds here. The meaning of World is implicit in the relationship of World with Sentence. In other words, World is something that the sentence is about. We could possibly say "subject of the sentence", but then the term "subject" plays its role in OWL (and in grammar in general). Unfortunately, I don't know what would be a better term - "domain", "issue", "thing"? [Mitch Kokar]
