Should verb == operation name? No.
- Syntax would be unreasonable
- Operation name is a long (ugly?) URI
- Defined by Arthur's URI mapping:
targetNamespace+symbol space+opname
- Suppose a service is described by something other than WSDL
- Unreasonable to require it to use a WSDL operation name URI.
- Granularity is (sometimes) too coarse
- Operation name may involve multiple messages
- Each message needs a verb
- Note: WS-Addressing permits a separate verb for each message
