Web Services Work at W3C: Ongoing/Upcomming

On August 3, the Web Services Description Working Group brought WSDL 2.0 to W3C Last Call:
The review period ends on October 4. Please review and comment on these documents.
Specifications for optimizing binary content in SOAP (by the XML Protocol Working Group) moved to CR:
W3C recently acknowledged two related Member Submissions:
- Web Services Addressing (WS-Addressing)
- WS-MessageDelivery Version 1.0
Looking at starting work in this area.
Workshop on Constraints and Capabilities for Web Services to be held in Redwood Shores, CA, USA on 12-13 October.
Position papers are due 27 August.
The Internationalization Activity is being rechartered. Specification work on Web services internationalization is being planned (DRAFT charter), based on Requirements for the Internationalization of Web Services (Working Draft).
