W3C Recommendation Statistics and Graphs

These histograms represent the distribution of publications by the number of months it took to progress between successive phases of publication. From Working Draft (WD) to Candidate Recommendation (CR), CR to Proposed Recommendation (PR), PR to Recommendation (REC), and WD to REC. (The publication process has evolved over W3C's history; not every publication has a CR stage.)

You'll need an SVG viewer to see the graphs, perhaps from Adobe or Corel.

The following SVG graphs were generated using XSLT on RDF/XML data generated by cwm (tying in work across the Interaction, Architecture, and Technology and Society domains).

See the histogram XSLT and the Makefile for details on how the graphs are generated. Read up on the general Technical Report history for details on how the raw data is generated.
