Nearest Airport

MEL - Melbourne Airport
Non-Stop flights from: Singapore, Los Angeles, Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong, Tokyo. Direct flights from: London Heathrow, New York Kennedy, etc.

Local Transport

If you choose to rent a car, be aware that Australia drives on the left side of the road, and Melbourne's CBD (where the SLV is) is notorious for its confusing hook turns.

Taxis from the airport are reasonable, and Melbourne has an extensive transit network.

A Metcard is required to travel on public transport; one card works on trains, trams and busses. A full-fare zone 1 10 x 2 hour card will meet most needs, and can be purchased at convenience stores.

Travel Requirements

A valid passport and visa are required to visit Australia. Electronic visa applications are accepted online.
