RDF Modeling for P3P

This document presents some investigations towards an RDF model for P3P data structures. The original documents here were produced by Thomas Hubbard, a W3C Visiting Fellow from Nokia, in July 2000. A goal of this document is to encourage implementor input into P3P from member of the Semantic Web developer community. Specifically, the P3P group are working towards a W3C Note describing RDF data models representing P3P policies and policy reference files. RDF implementor experience is needed to progress this work.

Status: please note that the P3P specs have evolved somewhat since this work was originally undertaken, and that RDF proposals shown here have not yet been widely reviewed. Send comments on this work to www-rdf-interest@w3.org, the RDF Interest Group mailing list.

The P3P spec was issued as a W3C Candidate Recommendation in December 2000. There were a number of minor changes as a result of implementer input -- these are reflected in the updates page. A consolidated document that incorporates these changes is expected shortly.
