Preamble

Chair to start the meeting by typing on irc: 

trackbot, start meeting

Trackbot should already be on the channel but if for some reason it is not call it with the following command: 

/invite trackbot

Zakim won't know what meeting it is. Just ignore it. Pick a scribe from the list or ask Zakim to pick one up with the following command: 

Zakim, pick a victim

Unfortunately Zakim has no idea who's scribed before so you may have to ask several times before getting an acceptable answer...

Then type: 

scribe: xxx

Also, with WebEx, Zakim doesn't know who is on the call so, as people join they should record their attendance with the command: present+ <nickname>

Each Agent(Actor/Account) can publish to multiple Channel(Stream/Feed). In most cases Follow action will result in Subscribe to some default Channel(Stream/Feed). discussion started on mailing list: https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-socialweb/2015May/0038.html

Social Syntax

Aligning AS2.0 and Microformats

As of today AS2.0 and Microformats don't provide easy way to use them together. Current work and proposals

Invitation (challenge) addressed at two of Social WG chairs - Tantek & Evan proposing Proving usability of ActivityStreams2.0 and Microformats together by example

Questions to consider:

  • Will microformats.org provide clear prefix to have clear URIs for terms it provides?
  • Can AS2.0 spec include microformats.org prefix (e.g. h:) in http://www.w3.org/TR/activitystreams-core/#compact-iris
  • In case of not reaching consensus withing Social WG/IG, can we leave to survival of the fittest resolution of issues like h:card vs. as:Individual vs. vcard:Organization | h:event vs. as:Event vs. ical:Vevent etc.

Intended use of as:Profile

I-JSON discussion
