RE: Telecon Minutes for Sept 23rd

Thank you David,

I am sure the WG would be excited to get an update from the Google Compression team and since we can be very flexible with all other agenda items (spec / CTS / etc.) we can definitely plan our timeline taking CET into consideration.

The same would probably be true for other WG members (Jonathan?) who might want to join specific parts of the discussions but will not be there in person – please send your proposed F2F agenda items and scheduling time preferences via email.

Thank you,
Vlad

Next week sounds good to me.

One additional topic for the meeting next week, would be agenda items for the in-person meeting in Sao Paulo on Oct 13th.

Here's one proposal: The Google Compression team has been hard at work in making both Brotli and WOFF 2.0 faster over the summer and are eager to give an update (over VC from Zurich). Given the time differences though, it would be helpful to find a time that worked well for both Zurich and Sao Paulo. Such as 11AM for ~30 minutes or so.

Hello WG,

I’d like to do a quick straw poll to see if we should postpone our call tomorrow until next week (which will be our last call opportunity on Oct. 7 prior to the F2F).

I didn’t make any changes in the spec since the last update and we still need to finalize certain aspects of the spec we discussed last week during the call (see below). We can definitely have a telcon and discuss it live or (preferred) have the proposed spec language changes discussed on the email list first. Let me know what your thoughts are and whether we should do a telcon tomorrow or postpone it until we have specific changes to discuss.

Thank you,
Vlad
