Re: [lang_Chinese_ZH] Intention of translation & enquiry

Hi Xueyuan,

Thanks for your timely reply, I will start to look into the translation as soon as possible.

But I still have a question before I start to translate this file. What kind of delivery do w3c expect? Should I sent you a word document so you can edit or if you have a submission portal that I can sent the translated file? I have read all the relevant information on the website that you sent me, thank you.

Best,

Ruidi

Hello Rita,

Many thanks for your intention of translating W3C specification into Simplified Chinese.

Regarding the usage of the translation, please be kindly reminded that, it's required to include the following disclosure in target language [Simplified Chinese] in a prominent location (generally a header and/or footer) in the translated document:

1) a reference to the original English document
2) that the normative version of the specification is the English version found at the W3C site
3) that the translated document may contain errors from the translation.

Please see more at:

Warm regards,
Xueyuan

Dear Translators

I confirm that I have searched the Translations database (http://www.w3.org/Consortium/Translation/#search) and the mailing-list archives (http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/w3c-translators/).

Unless there are objections within the next few days, I will proceed with the translation into [Simplified_Chinese] of the following document(s):

Title:
Web Services Addressing 1.0 - Core

https://www.w3.org/TR/ws-addr-core/#eprinfomodel

Can I use my translation for my translation project within the University of Leeds? It will not be published at all, it will just for educational purposes.

In compliance with the W3C Intellectual Property FAQ (http://www.w3.org/Consortium/Legal/IPR-FAQ-20000620#translate<http://www..w3.org/Consortium/Legal/IPR-FAQ-20000620#translate>), I will be required to place a prominent disclaimer in my translation(s) in which I will disclose, (1) the title of and link to the original English document, (2) that my document is a translation which may contain errors, and (3) that the original English document on the W3C website is the one that is official. (Items (2) and (3) must be in the target language.)

I will also make sure the links within my translation(s) are valid and will endeavor to provide valid markup and CSS (validation tools are at http://validator.w3.org/).

I will notify this list with links to my translation(s) when complete
