ISSUE-35 (Posts): Should org support representation of organizational structure distinct from membership [Organization Ontology] http://www.w3.org/2011/gld/track/issues/35 Raised by: Dave Reynolds On product: Organization Ontology In http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-gld-wg/2012May/0027.html Bart van Leeuwen raises the question of how to use Org to represent various organizational reporting structures in the abstract, without necessarily representing the members who fill those structures. Similar needs have been identified by other groups who have applied Org, including work within data.gov.uk where the notion of "Posts" was defined.
