Is ISSUE-57 still important? It is titled: "c14n end tags "eliminate the need of the name of the element in end tag / make it optional" http://www.w3.org/2008/xmlsec/track/issues/57 This is not addressed in C14N (http://www.w3.org/TR/xml-c14n11/) or XML Signature Syntax and Processing Version 1.1 work (http://www.w3.org/TR/2009/WD-xmldsig-core1-20090226/) There is only one e-mail on this http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-xmlsec/2008Aug/0019.html Gerald Edgar, CISSP Boeing
