RE: [ACTION-264] Follow up on domain list topic with DCU

Hi Pablo and Ankit,

The subject areas are organized in a hierarchical way. There is an algorithm that defines the order of transfer lexicon entries that are considered during translation, based on the values passed as SUBJECT_AREAS parameter, eg. "(POL ECON-POL)". The client may pass a list of domains that may be located at different hierarchy levels. You may restrict yourself to any subset of the hierarchy. Undefined domain names are not mapped and may result in errors.

Cheers,
Thomas

Hi Thomas,

I think that Ankit said that they have no problem with using the same domain values that you use. A common way of handling it could be homogenise them, and you could do an internal mapping in your systems afterwards if needed. Since the potential client is a Government Agency, I think that the bold categories of the list below (Lucy's values), would be more than sufficient.

Thoughts?

Cheers,

Asunto: [ACTION-264] Follow up on domain list topic with DCU

Hi Ankit,

it seems that you got the action item (although Felix mentioned me in the minutes). Anyway, we should find a common way of handling this issue. What is your current implementation state?

Best,

Thomas
