RE: PR #217 factored into 8 PRs, each with defined purpose and scope

Apologies - I'd meant to send this to the FIDO 2 working group and sent it to the wrong place.

Subject: PR #217 factored into 8 PRs, each with defined purpose and scope

At the request of the working group, the content of the large pull request #217<https://github.com/fido-alliance/fido-2-specs/pull/217> - April 2017 update - has been factored into eight separate pull requests, each of which has a clearly defined purpose and is of limited scope. This should facilitate reviewing and adopting the improvements made.
The refactored PRs are:
PR #219<https://github.com/fido-alliance/fido-2-specs/pull/219> - Add Client PIN functionality
PR #220<https://github.com/fido-alliance/fido-2-specs/pull/220> - Define and use error response values
PR #221<https://github.com/fido-alliance/fido-2-specs/pull/221> - Add options to some authenticator requests
PR #222<https://github.com/fido-alliance/fido-2-specs/pull/222> - Enhance CTAP protocol to enable timely responses to all requests
PR #223<https://github.com/fido-alliance/fido-2-specs/pull/223> - Enable use of U2F authenticators with CTAP
PR #224<https://github.com/fido-alliance/fido-2-specs/pull/224> - Add Authenticator Reset functionality
PR #225<https://github.com/fido-alliance/fido-2-specs/pull/225> - Update examples
PR #226<https://github.com/fido-alliance/fido-2-specs/pull/226> - Track changes made to WebAuthn

#217<https://github.com/fido-alliance/fido-2-specs/pull/217> has been superseded by the eight PRs listed above, and has been closed. If you made comments on #217<https://github.com/fido-alliance/fido-2-specs/pull/217> please add them to the applicable individual pull requests.

My personal thanks to those who did the critical work of implementing draft specifications and feeding back what they learned into the specifications. That's what it takes to make things real!

P.S. Alex Radutskiy pointed out to me that one change still needed is to replace uses of the now-defunct WebAuthn AccountInformation structure with uses the corresponding new fields. I'll plan to take a crack at that tomorrow.
