I can see https://github.com/nigelmegitt/web-platform-tests/blob/ttwg/ttml/webvtt-mapped-from-ttml/Styling/DisplayAlign001a.vtt
as the first vtt file mapped from ttml.

I would suggest trying to avoid using "Region" definitions right now,
because no browser has released support for this yet. If at all
possible, examples should use other cue settings instead, such as line
and position.

Below is a suggestion of replacement.
