Basic provenance info for an ontology?

Hi!

When editing an ontology in e.g. Protégé the user can specify e.g.
versionInfo and label for the ontology as a whole. Is there a set of
recommended information for provenance for an ontology? How are you
doing this in your project? By importing Dublin Core and using those
elements?
