You only need to do so if you feel your objection to one of the options is truly strong, and has not been adequately addressed by a Change Proposal or someone else's objection. The Chairs will be looking at strength of objections, and will not be counting votes.

I'm not sure what you mean by "agree with either". If you don't object to either one, then there's nothing you need to say. If you agree with one and object to the other, then it's fine to state your objection. Repeating an objection that was made in the Change Proposal or has already been made by someone else is not required, but not forbidden either. Our key requests are this:

A) Please don't respond unless you have an actual technical objection to at least one of the proposals. On our last survey, some people made statements that were just general comments or process complaints, and which did not clearly state an objection. Having to wade through those makes it harder for the chairs to process the survey.

B) If you do have an objection, please state it directly in your own words, don't just refer to something else.

If you would feel you can add information by stating an objection in the context of the poll, then feel free to do so. Obviously, there is nothing wrong with agreeing with yourself.

I don't understand this question. Are you asking (a) if no one objects to either proposal or (b) if everyone agrees with at least one of the proposals? I suspect (a) is unlikely, but I'm not sure how your question makes sense in the context of (b).

Arguments made in the Change Proposals will definitely be considered, along with poll responses.

Maciej
