Hi All, This is a Call for Consensus to integrate the HTML Media Capture spec [1] into the HTML Living Standard [2]. This feature was developed separately for historical reasons. The feature has been widely implemented and the the spec has reached W3C Recommendation on 01 February 2018. Rationale for integration is to allow easier maintenance and to have this attribute defined in the HTML Living Standard along with all the other elements and attributes of the language. If you have any concerns with this proposal, please respond by 31 March 2020. Silence is considered consent.
