Question: Should the Annotation be an oax:Tag?

Response (by Paolo Ciccarese): no, the oax:Tag annotation type is used only when the tag is specified in the body of the annotation. In that case oax:Tag is characterizing the nature of the body that would be otherwise generic. In the case of semantic tags, given the specialized property, the annotation type is usually defined simply as oa:Annotation. We have been also considering other strategies that encode the 'motivation' of the annotation through an additional property and not through the annotation type. However, we still think such approach needs to be thought through.
