Description

The Retrofitting/Refurbishment/Reconfiguration (or re-design) phase covers all changes to the operational building. For example, installation of new facades, new building equipment and devices. It also includes the reconfiguration of building systems, for example, adjusting the set point of HVAC systems according to new knowledge about the buildings behavior. This stage may result in 're-commissioning' to evaluate the re-designed building.
