Description
I want to know who knows what about me, who has access to my data and who does what with it. I also want to switch between my different identities in a simple and secure manner, demonstrate that I have rights without having to reveal who I am, not have to re-enter the same information for the thousandth time (from USE CASES OF SELF DATA).
Part of this use case can be considered a general case of DEC02, and its general spirit is also shared by DECODE with the goal of giving back ownership of personal data to data subjects. In particular, the concept of 'different identities' is implemented in DECODE with attribute-based authentication, according to which you do not have to disclose your entire data to prove a right of access for example, but just the relevant attribute(s).
On the other hand, the case that a different identity would mean totally different data is not covered by DECODE's use cases.
It would be beneficial to address this use case in the scope of DEC02, since DEC02 is a concrete use case, while keeping in mind the broader scenario described by this use case.
