SCOPE OF CONTRIBUTIONS

I'll aim to have our second report out by then, and plan to given an overview in the shortest possible talk. I'd like to see members giving short talks too, and depending on time, we could have short talks or presentation of abstracts in bullet points. Or simply add a link to a recording or your paper to the wiki page. Let's try to keep things short and to the point, and to make some original contribution (something useful that has not been done/said before). I'd like to remind everyone that AI KR is a difficult topic to keep the focus on. Knowledge is extremely stimulating and infinitely vast field, please try to get to grips with it. Intelligence is also an extremely vast and profound domain, so is computation. AI has entered our lives, how can KR help us tackle the challenges? Some of the key challenges I'd like to see members focus on are:

  • How can we use AI to make the black box accountable?
  • How can KR be used to understand if the product of generative AI is fact or fiction?

More philosophical questions can include:

  • Can AI generated output be considered real?
  • Can something that does not exist outside the artificial generation be considered 'true'?

Machine is here, let's ensure it is for the best!
