XML Inclusions (XInclude) Conformance Test Suites

Overview

The XInclude Test Suite provides overall test coverage of W3C XML Inclusions (XInclude) Version 1.0 Recommendation functionality, as amended by published errata.

Implementors are encouraged to write a harness around these tests to test their implementation for XInclude 1.0 conformance.

A test report for the current version of the test suite is available. It provides background information on conformance testing for the current W3C XML Inclusions (XInclude) Version 1.0 Candidate Recommendation as well as test descriptions for each testcase included in the release.

It provides background information on conformance testing for the now out-dated W3C XML Inclusions (XInclude) Version 1.0 Proposed Recommendation as well as test descriptions for each testcase included in the original release.

Test Development Process

The development of the XML Inclusion Test Suite shall be in accordance with the XInclude Conformance Test Suites Process Document document.

Test Suite Framework

The XInclude-Test-Suite Framework consists of master XML description file associated with a DTD that was developed in coordination with the W3C XML Core Working Group.

XML Inclusions (XInclude) Version 1.0, W3C Conformance Test Suite, 2004-06-30 This version supersedes the original, with a number of corrections and new tests. You can download it in zip or gzipped tar form.
XML Inclusions (XInclude) Version 1.0, W3C Conformance Test Suite, 2003-02-13 Although superseded, the original version of the test suite is still available for completeness. You can download it in zip or gzipped tar form.
