Success Criteria
2.7.1 Allow Persistent Accessibility Settings: User agent accessibility preference settings persist between sessions. (Level A)
Note: User agents may have a public access setting that turns this off.
Tests
Test Procedure 1
- Open accessibility settings (e.g. text size, captions on/off, etc.).
- Modify several of the accessibility settings.
- Exit the user agent
- Re-open the user agent
- Open accessibility settings to the screen that was changed.
- Check that the modified accessibility settings are still set to the new values.
Note: It is acceptable for the user agent to have a setting that turns this behaviour off in case the user agent is installed in a public setting.
