Success Criteria

2.4.4 Alert on Wrap or No Match: The user can choose to receive notification when there is no match to a search operation. The user can choose to receive notification when the search continues from the beginning or end of content. (Level A)

Test 1

Assertion: The user can choose to receive notification <http://w3c.github.io/UAAG/UAAG20/#def-alert> when there is no match to a search operation.

1. load page (with rendered text, alternative text, generated text, foreign language characters), 2. using the browsers search notification user interface. select "notify on no match" (or something similar). (if pass go to next, else fail) 3. search for text known not to be on the page. (if pass go to next, else fail)

Expected Results: 2 is true 3 the user is notified that the search term was not found

Test 2

Assertion: ​ The user can choose to receive notification when the search continues from the beginning or end of content.

1. load page (with rendered text, alternative text, generated text, foreign language characters), 2. using the browsers search notification user interface. select "notify on page wrap", or "search again from top of page" (or something similar). (if pass go to next, else fail)​ 3. start in middle of page, ​ ​search for text known not to be on the page. ​ ​(if pass go to next, else fail)​

​Expected Results: 2. is true 3. user is notified that the search is beginning again from top of page
