Success Criteria

2.2.3 Default Navigation Order: If the author has not specified a navigation order, the default sequential navigation order is the document order. (Level A)

Tests

Test Procedure 1

  1. Open a test document that contains enabled elements (standard form fields, buttons, links) without a specified order
    Sample HTML test document: Sample page with form controls, buttons, links
  2. Connect a keyboard (corded, Bluetooth-connected, etc.) or keyboard emulator.
  3. Check that sequential forward navigation proceeds left to right and top to bottom

Expected Results 1

  • Check #3 is true
